Frequently Asked Questions about Dormitory, Meals, City Life

If you have booked a shared room, in principle, your roommate might be from a different country. Even though CIP English Dormitory Rules say “Respect your roommates and don’t interfere with roommate’s life”, there are times when you would not get along with your roommates for other reasons, for example, if you can’t understand your roommate’s English at all due to a unique accent or you have a problem with a roommate’s snoring noise.

As a result, room changes are possible.

If you meet and consult with a staff member/manager of the same nationality as you, they will take immediate action. However, you may pay a fee for a room upgrade (change from double to single, etc).

Quad-room is a condition for 4 people to check in at the same time.

Triple room and quad room sizes and items are the same. The only difference is that Quad-room has an extra bed under one bed.

Since the extra bed is suitable for children, this room can be recommended for a family of four.

Triple room beds can be adjusted to accommodate four people in a single room.

CIP English has a lot of experience serving vegetarians. Our chef provides a separate meal in case you have a certain food aversion.

What if I can’t eat certain foods even if I’m not a vegetarian? Don’t worry about this either. When you enroll, your food preferences are considered in the meal planning.

We are operating a cooking space for students. Here you can use the refrigerator, cookware, gas stove, and more. Hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.

You can cook ramen or light food in the evening, or cook something special with your classmates on the weekend.

The on-campus dining hall is available from the moment you arrive at the school. Breakfast is served from 8 am, lunch is from 12 pm, and dinner is from 6 pm.

Food is provided on a 3-week menu. It consists of 1-2 main menus, 3-5 side menus, fruit, soup, etc. The menu is subject to change according to student preferences and evaluations. You can also ask for any food you want. (You can request the food you want on the bulletin board in the dining hall).
